The on and off of the switch depends on the force deformation of shrapnel and contact with two groups of pins to play the role of conduction. The pins are generally in pairs, and there are only two pins, or five pins. In pairs, there is one for grounding. Only when the touch switch is pressed by the correct operating force, the four pairs of pins will be turned on. In the natural state, the circuit of the switch is disconnected.
There are two common light touch switches: plug-in (DIP) and patch (SMT). Then the welding methods of these two light touch switches will also be different. SMT touch switches are mostly soldered to PCB by reflow soldering. The welding conditions are shown in the figure below:
